This week I will be reading chapter 8: The Gospel of Luke, and Chapter 9: The Gospel of John. I'll also be watching (if i get the time) discs 8 and 9. I'm sure I'll learn alot from them.

Hey Corky, I'm sorry I meant Corey, did you think that was funny? That not my question though, what book are you reading? It is good stuff though reading about Jesus. Which do you like the best John or Luke?

I always tell someone who is a new christian to read the Gospel of John. It is the easiest to read. It also stressed the deity of Jesus. I think that it is a good starting point for new converts. What do you guys think?

LOL(Laugh Out Loud sorry I'm nerdy this stuff is ingraved into me) i thought it was pretty funny. And the first one im not sure exactly 100% what your talking about so I'll just answer it 2 ways, Jesus And The Gospels, and at the moment I'm reading Luke. And Bro. Roger my favorite has to be John, it's, as tyler says below you(and above me) it is the easiest to read, and it has the most witnessing tools in it(or at least thats what I see, or the easiest to see witnessing tools

Though i agree it is a great book for new converts, I think that, Pauls letters are the best, because they teach you about Christ and what being a Christian is all about. But this is how i feel, i think its a rather good question Tyler

You know I like the book of John as well,it is probably my favorite book. I think John was one of those guys who paid attention to the details and meditated on them. He just seems to know everything. Luke is a great book as well but just not what John is. Besides that Luke was a doctor!!

I feel like John is the most challenging Gospel. With this verse: Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. It cuts right to the point. Another point on Luke I like is that he's a gentile. Does your book bring up anything about the authors different personalities and if that could be why they are a little different?
