Hey Tyler, it was a good meeting and I hope that it stirs all who listened to it. Bro. Eddy is one of those men that will preach what God tells him to whether it is popular or not. Thank God for all those who are willing to be used and used well. Looking forward to hearing you at the Quarterly.God Bless!!

Forgot to ask my question. Tyler how does your course teach us to have compassion for the people, especially those not of the faith and think they don't need anyone but themselves? Any insight will be helpful.

It seems that to be a pastor, you would need compassion for people. In my book it talks about pastors wanting to improve their relational skills. Is this what this chapter is about? The ch on worship sounds interesting. Is it on congregational or personal worship?

It talks about compassion in several ways. The one that sticks out to me is compassion to those who are lost and those who make fun of us. The book talks about the fact that they don't understand us and that is why they make fun of us. We know that our faith is foolish to them that are perishing. I hope that my compassion for lost people never runs dry.

It is about both styles of worship. The author makes an interesting point that stands out to me. It is not so much the style of music(contemporary or traditional), it is more that we are worshiping in truth and that we are sincere. I like that thought. Worshiping is also a lifestyle, not jus tthe music that we listen to.

Tyler, Good job preaching at the Quarterly last night.

Also, thank you for helping Kenny by accepting the position of assistant clerk.

Thank you, Bro. Randy. I was a little bit hesitant to accept Bro. Kenny's offer. I thought that some may not be happy with a preacher doing that job. I was glad to know that there were not any objections. I just want to help out our Quarterly Meeting. I also though that Bro. Dale and Bro. Andy brought good messages. The food was also delicious!
