The course was about an introduction to the Gospels. It talked about the themes of each book and the historical data surrounding the writing of them. It also mentioned some of the criticisms of the Gospels and the quest for the historical Jesus. I like the book, but it seemed like the author kind of agreed with some of the silly ideas that scholars have. Other than that, it was good.

I sure enjoyed the Preachers' Meeting on Tuesday night. I have only perticipated in a foot-washing once before. It was a very humbling experience. I am greatful for the men in the Meeting that I can go to for advice and help.

Tyler,

I enjoyed the preachers' meeting too. I am also excited about our plan to have our deacons join us next month. I have thought for some time that we should do that.
